Life, the universe, everything, and then some.
From clenched-teeth blistering rants against the politics of this 'ere little country to the minutiae of my life that few people would otherwise know about or regard, to fiction and poetry and reflections, it's all here.
This is my little free speech spot, y'see, and I reserve the right to be as self-indulgent as I so please.
Gaudeo vos hic adesse, comrades.
(It means welcome.)
The people, united, will never be defeated.
Nicholas Clegg, shame on you,
But I'm not letting Cameron through!

The BSF- shoddily organised, shoddily cut.

Yes, so the BSF programme was costly and inefficient in the first place (largely because it relied on contracting private companies rather than relying on a direct public investment in school building.)
Whilst Michael Gove had a fair point about waste, the way in which the BSF has been mutilated is inexcusable.
Rather than looking at what schools didn't actually need rebuilding, they cut the ones costing the most, where the least compensation would have to be given to contractors for work already completed. As a result, schools across Britain have been left with crumbling, deceprit war-era buildings, and many in Portakabins. This fate would have befallen my own school had Kensington and Chelsea Council not been funding the rebuild instead of the BSF.
Ironically enough, the school that Cameron hoped would form the flagship for his 'free schools' initiative is being cut. And in addition, the money is there. It is merely being channelled into free school programmes- a blatant assault on working class children who will meanwhile be being educated in ramshackle buildings- if they're lucky enough to have buildings still.

Indeed, the ones my school used while the new one was being built (by BSFQuote:
) we used portakabins - each class room had more room and couldn't hear the next class room because they were seperated by the main door and store rooms or toilets.
