It needs to be increased, 10000 characters is too short for a decent length essay to be posted...

but 10,000 is not long on a broad subject.. or even a narrow one if you know anything about it.

I dont really see why there is a limit, but surely 10000 is enough for the majority of posts?
Maybe if you actually wanted to post something longer then you should email admin?
