Hi all

It was all a bit hectic yesterday with the Nick Clegg web chat. To be honest I think it was a bit more ambitious to try and respond to questions on the forums, twitter, facebook and youtube at the same time!!

In the future, we are looking to do web chats exclusively on UKYP forums, which means politicians / celebrities will be able to answer many more of your questions.

So, do you want more web chats? If so, who would you like to have web chats with?

It'd be nice to have a webchat with a ukyp admin because it seems that you are in the habit of ignoring queries and suggestions put to you in PM by members on this forum.

I think its rude when you dont respond to Private Messages.

I agree with Mockler, It would be good for UKYP to answer questions regarding the forums.

I would like to see more leaders of senior members of political parties. The devolved parliaments should also be considered, e.g the SNP, DUP, SF, PC etc might be worth having on here to raise awareness of devolution and give MSPs, MLAs and AMs the chance to explain it in more detail.

Gerry Adams! :D

And I agree, having a talk with the ukyp admin(s) every once in a while would be nice!

Austin, I think everyone here is very aware of devolution thanks to you.

Yeah, I thought you Scots were fine with it. I know better now. Thank God for Austin, I say.

I think having more 'specific' people commenting would be good. Say, shadow/Ministers for specfic departments or committees who then can answer more relavent questions. I think the issue raised with Nick Clegg, while a good approach, is that he focused too heavily on generalised questions that are often asked by the media anyway.

Having someone (as PoliceStory suggested) like Ken Clarke on is that he can answer economic questions directly and in more depth due to it being his speciality area. He can then give his views perhaps on a few issues that aren't his specific area, say, education, to get a more varied viewpoint and take on it.

I'd just like to see a bit of variety really.

Lies, it's a complicated plot involving huge scale distractions, back alley information trading and eventual knifing in the back, there are very few people here who'll say what they really believe.

Well, I would.
