As long as McSame as Bush doesn't win i'm happy.

America shouldn't pass up on the chance to use the talents of a truly inspirational leader like Obama.

Hopefully we can turn the page on the neoconservatives and let the world breathe a sigh of relief.

One thing I love about the American Elections is how they really engage people in politics, and Obama in particular really reaches out to young people, I think.

Sometimes I wonder will it actually make a difference?? It seems to be a big game and the person playing it is never seen.

Hmmm... what do you mean?

SyedMohsin
04-08-2008, 17:04
Hmmm... what do you mean?

You know with the involvement of the CIA and what they have done over the years. It seems like the president is just a public figure and the rest is pretty much all behind the scenes.

PKDhande

Please elaborate.. what are you referring to that the CIA has done, specifically..

Hamsterwaffle

Syed don't start with all this conspiracy theory crap. If the US president was just a figure head, wouldn't they have chose a better one?

i think obama should win

as long as its not hilary clinton who will do anything to get elected.

Sorry but I would rather not my statements be called crap. I did respect you alot but you have shown me your level. Thank you for that.

Secondly regarding th CIA I only said it because there was this program i saw called The Secrets of The CIA and it showed the CIA's involvement in so many things so I was just wondering how are we suppose to know if they have any involvement or even control of what goes on with the administration of who evers in power.

Hmmm... your opinion seems based on a single TV program - although please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think a president can decide how much he wants to be influenced by other agencies, and that's what makes a president.

The CIA was quite powerful in the 60s, in which I've been told they were more involved in wars than the military, but now I doubt they hold the same power.

It's probably CIA propaganda, they want you to think they are that powerful.

I would vote for Barack Obama. But i think that the next American Government will be Republican. So John McCain will end up being next President

I very much dislike Obama because he talks far more about change than what the change is and all his supporters say "He's right for America" without anyone saying why.

I support McCain because I am actualy pretty scared by how radical Obama is.

Quite probably.

I laughed a lot when that Clinton advisor was sacked for the "racist" comment that people are voting for Obama because he's black. I like the irony of the fact that for the last hundred years people all over the world have been saying that people will only vote for a white president and now suddenly someone mentions that race affect democracy and RACIST!!!!!!!!

(Hamsterwaffle you can change the odds to 1:3)

I watched a documentary yesterday of how the Southerners in American feel about the elections. Remember this is deep republican, extreme christian, gay hating folks. Damn did they hate Hilary Clinton she's like the Anti-Christ to them. They even said they would see a black person (they used a less nice word than that) in power before that witch.

Go Mccain!

I agree with you that you want Barack Obama. But I think democratics will win, not the republicians.

I agree with you that you want Barack Obama. But I think democratics will win, not the republicians.

The problem lies in that Clinton is actually more electable (ghastly as it seems) for the Democrats and has more chance of winning. Remember the objective of any elections is to persuade voters of other parties to vote for you. That's what John McCain is doing. He is staying just within party lines, but is appealing to Democrats as well. Many republicans have predicted a McCain victory if against Obama, but if Hillary was the Democrat candidate, McCain will probably lose. The choice of the lesser of two evils...

I would personally feel sorry for America if Barack Obama didn't win. He has even gained the support of Hamas. Now i'm no genius but a presidential candidate who prior to even having any authority outside of his own state, has the ability to make stability in the middle east? I''m voting for!

Especially with Hillary Clinton basically guaranteeing a war with Iran if she's elected.
