I was just wondering if like certain parish council meetings, any of the regional meetings are open for members of the public, or maybe mebers of the local youth council?
Obviously they would have to get their own lunch, and transport but is it possible?

As far as I am aware the majority of council meetings are open to public observation

The only one locally that wasn't was the Senate (http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/3673324.Hampshire_s___50_000_senate_meets_for_firs t_time_in_secret/), but they opened that up to the public after the first meeting [the members hadn't voted on it so it couldn't be public straight away].

Your best bet is to get in touch with the RC or PGs for the region/nation you're interested in; head office should be able to hook you up.
