I'm Azeem, i recently met a man named Umar Kankiya, some of you might know him, and another lovely lady whose name ive forgotten! you know who you are :p, at the recent 'you have a choice' event at the arsenal stadium (anti youth crime and all that), in which i showcased and held a beatboxing workshop.

well thats where i found out about this UKYP stuff, and since ive been interested in political stuff for a while (mainly in civilization 4 and other RTS games, where i usually win by beating the crap out of other civs, and turning them against each other and ganging up etc), i thought i should get involved and see what its all about.

well im 16, a professional beatboxer, performing and teaching at workshops, love playing football/basketball (as opposed to watching), learning japanese (i suck), love my gaming, and im a fackin crazy ******* too, wagawan!

also, is anyone here gonna be having a go at warhammer online? also, OMG DIABLO 3, soon as it comes out, goodbye social life! :p

Hi coruscant, personally i think gordon brown is a total ass.
hes done so many idiotic things, eg. numbering kids and having all their personal details on a database for life. what the hell?
part privatising the royal mail?

meh. we all need to relax.

only when everyone chills out and relaxes will gun and knife crime actually decrease aswell. people dont carry that **** because they think its cool, they carry it because theyre afraid of others, and want defense, not realising that itll only make stuff worse for them if theyre in that situation.

all the time media feeds the folk devil shysta, every day on the news another attack with guns/knives by kids, or a group of kids beat someone to death. thats going to make us relax eh? my parents think that ill be murdered because i travel a lot and its dangerous everywhere, i think not.

I have to disagree with you already though. Fear or reputation, regardless carry knife and you will suffer the consquences, weather that be a new hole in your chest or stomach or a new room in the form of a cell. Knife and Gun crime should not be tolerated and I advocate the Criminal Justice System to make examples of youths thinking it's ok and acceptable to carry on thier persons such leathal weapons which not only takes lives, but destroys familes and devistates communities.

i think a real cause of kids carrying knives around is that they were so sheltered by their parents that they now believe the bull**** 'dont talk to strangers' stories.

wrapping kids in cotton wool does absolutely nothing to help them live their lives as they would want to, since fear of the unknown results in these atrocities.

Not sure about the cotton wool kid idea, my friend is a perfect example of that, yet he would'nt even dream of carrying lethal weapons.

I do agree that communites need to come together, but we all need to face up against the problems with our youth.
